Increased efficiency for the construction machinery industry
HENSE ROTARY ACTUATORS IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY AND MANEUVERABILITYIn the construction machinery industry, our rotary actuators control the precise movements of excavators, cranes, and other construction machines. Thanks to optimal efficiency, they enable a reliable increase in performance and improve maneuverability, which ultimately leads to increased productivity and economy.

Hense rotary actuators for vibrators
For installing sheet pile profilesSteel sheet piles are used, for example, for the temporary securing of construction pits, for the installation of canals, locks and port facilities or as a remaining component for protection against ground or flood water. The most efficient method for installing the sheet pile planks is the vibratory driving method. In this process, the material to be driven is firmly connected to an oscillating gear housing via a clamping jaw and pressed vibratingly into the ground to reduce the driving resistance.
The vibration load on all gear components is enormous; it operates in a frequency range of approx. 30 to 45 Hz and with an amplitude of more than 10 mm. Under these conditions, Hense rotary actuators, which are installed here as rotating shafts, adjust the unbalances against each other and ensure a continuously variable adjustment of the unbalance. According to plan, the rotary actuators are exposed to accelerations of up to about 30 g. In construction site operation, impacts with multiple acceleration are also the order of the day, but the Hense rotary actuators also cope with them without damage.
