Increased efficiency for the construction machinery industry
HENSE ROTARY ACTUATORS IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY AND MANEUVERABILITYIn the construction machinery sector, our swivel motors control the precise movements of excavators, cranes and other construction machinery. Thanks to optimum efficiency, they enable a reliable increase in performance and improve maneuverability, which ultimately leads to increased productivity and profitability.

Hense rotary actuators for vibrators
For inserting sheet pile profilesSteel sheet piling is used, for example, for the temporary securing of excavation pits, for the construction of canals, locks and port facilities, or as a permanent structural element for protection against groundwater or flooding. The generally most efficient method for driving sheet piles is the vibratory pile driving method. In this process, the pile is firmly connected to a vibrating gearbox housing via a clamping tong and pressed into the ground with vibrations to reduce the insertion resistance.
The vibration stress on all gearbox components is enormous, operating in a frequency range of approximately 30 to 45 Hz and with an amplitude of up to over 10 mm. Under these conditions, Hense rotary actuators, which are installed here as rotating shafts, adjust the imbalances against each other and ensure a continuously variable adjustment of the imbalance. As planned, the rotary actuators are subjected to accelerations of up to about 30 g. In construction site operation, impacts with multiple times this acceleration are also common, which the Hense rotary actuators can also withstand without damage.
