Hense products Make your contribution to the energy transitionThe position of the rotor blades in wind turbines plays a key role in efficient energy generation. With pitch control, the rotor blades are precisely aligned with the current wind conditions using Hense swivel motors.
However, swivel motors from Hense are also used before the gearboxes are actually installed in the nacelles of wind turbines. Before the gearboxes are delivered, they are extensively tested by the manufacturers in specially designed test benches to ensure that they function perfectly, whereby the centerpiece of such test benches is often a swivel motor from Hense. This realistically simulates the varying loads acting on the gearboxes due to wind power.
