Our heartfelt wish at Christmas time is to support a charitable organisation: the ‘German Children’s Cancer Foundation’. We have therefore decided to turn the value of Christmas presents for our business partners into a valuable donation that goes to where support is urgently needed. And we know that our business partners are fully behind us in this decision.

It only takes one committed employee to make a difference. Mr. Lukas Ostrzolek has shown us this every day since he started working at Hense Systemtechnik.
His journey began in 2004 as an apprentice in our company. In 2007, Mr. Ostrzolek was taken on as a permanent employee. As Sales Manager, he is now responsible for the further development of sales concepts and the achievement of our sales targets.
Working life is not a sprint. It’s a marathon that you have to run again and again and reach one milestone after another. Mr. Ostrzolek is a damn good runner. Best wishes for the anniversary.
We look forward to many more years of working with him.

To expand our product range, we have added customer-specific hydropulsers for generating highly dynamic linear movements to our product range, similar to our torsional oscillators in the HSH swivel motor series.
Based on decades of experience in the construction of swivel motors with hydrostatically mounted output shafts, the hydraulic cylinders in the HZH series also have a hydrostatically mounted piston rod.
In conjunction with highly dynamic control valves and position measuring systems, the cylinders are preferably used in controlled systems in which high-precision forces and movement patterns have to be generated.
Due to the lack of internal seals, disturbance variables such as internal friction and the stick-slip effect are reduced to a minimum. At the same time, they are suitable for test series with large numbers of load cycles where an interruption, e.g. due to the replacement of internal seals, is not permitted.
With the combination of cylinders from the HZH series and swivel motors from the HSH series, Hense Systemtechnik provides the market with high-precision drive axes for reliable and economical tension/torsion testing systems.
Hense Systemtechnik GmbH & Co. KG reaffirms its strong commitment to training by having several employees voluntarily decide to obtain a training certificate from the IHK Mittleres Ruhrgebiet. This initiative reflects our commitment to promoting young professionals and enhancing the quality of our training programs.
“Our employees’ decision to apply for this certification also underlines their personal commitment to the continuous improvement and success of our company. By taking this step, we can ensure that our training processes meet the highest standards and that our trainees receive the best possible support and encouragement,” emphasizes Managing Director Christian Sartor.
“We are proud to have a team that is so committed to training and are already looking forward to the next trainees.”
Since the end of 2023, there has been new management at HENSE SYSTEMTECHNIK GMBH & CO. KG: Christian Sartor has taken over responsibility as Managing Director. Following the tragic death of her brother Frank Hense and her father Paul Hense, Theresa Hense will continue to run the family-run company as a partner. With this change, the company is relying on a breath of fresh air and new management impetus to further consolidate and expand its position in the market.
Christian Sartor brings an impressive professional career to his new role. Since 2006, he has worked for dormakaba, a leading provider of access solutions and security systems. He held several positions there, which gave him extensive experience in various areas of the company. Starting as a lean coordinator in prefabrication, he distinguished himself through his ability to design and implement efficient production processes. In the role of Insourcing Manager within the Lean/Processes/Projects department under the leadership of the Plant Manager, he expanded his know-how in the area of production optimization and process integration. His last position at dormakaba in property management, especially in architectural consulting, rounded off his profile with a profound understanding of customer needs and consulting.
In all these functions, his work focused primarily on project and process management. Sartor’s ability to manage complex projects and optimize processes while taking all relevant factors into account has always distinguished him throughout his career. His expertise and commitment to continuous improvement will now benefit HENSE SYSTEMTECHNIK.
HENSE SYSTEMTECHNIK, known for its innovative solutions in system technology, can herald a new era in the company’s development with Sartor at the helm. His extensive knowledge and experience in project management, production optimization and customer consulting are valuable assets that will help the company to achieve its strategic goals and continue to be successful in the market.
We are looking forward to the developments under the leadership of Christian Sartor and wish him every success in his new challenge at HENSE SYSTEMTECHNIK GMBH & CO. KG.
Rolf Winzen’s journey at Hense Systemtechnik GmbH & Co KG in Bochum began on March 1, 1989. At that time, the founder of the company, Mr. Paul Hense, hired Rolf Winzen, a graduate engineer fresh from his mechanical engineering studies, and quickly recognized his potential. Paul Hense therefore entrusted him with the management of the technical office as early as 1991. Rolf Winzen still fulfills this task today with unparalleled commitment, expertise and competence.
After training as a technical draughtsman, Rolf Winzen knew early on that his passion lay in mechanical engineering. After graduating from high school, he went straight on to study mechanical engineering at Bochum University of Applied Sciences, specializing in construction technology.
His career has been characterized by constant learning and development, underlined by numerous further training courses. But Rolf Winzen is not only pursuing his goals in his professional life. His hobbies, sport climbing and cycling, reflect his constant drive to push boundaries and achieve new goals with ambition.
Today, 35 years later, we are not only celebrating his loyalty to our company, but also his countless contributions that have made Hense Systemtechnik a renowned company in drive technology today.
We look back on 35 years of innovations, challenges and successes that would not have been possible without his extraordinary talent and passion. We appreciate Rolf Winzen for his tireless commitment, his unique and level-headed leadership and his unshakeable belief in the potential of Hense Systemtechnik. Here’s to many more years of successful cooperation and joint growth!
